The Institute on Implementation Practice (formerly UNC Institute on Implementation Science) brings together implementation support practitioners, nonprofit and government leaders and staff, researchers, and direct service staff to grow their competencies for supporting implementation efforts across a range of human service contexts, including family-serving systems. The Institute seeks to expand thinking around what is needed to support equitable implementation through storytelling and case examples that center the human experience at the heart of implementation. The Institute includes both in-person and virtual learning events where individuals gather to reflect on implementation practice and share knowledge that can transform the ways in which systems and stakeholders approach change and evidence use.
The Institute on Implementation Practice is a joint effort of the Collaborative for Implementation Practice and the Jordan Institute for Families at the UNC School of Social Work.
