Panel on Ethics, Access, Equity, and Advocacy

Speakers for this topic are MaryAnn Black, MSW, LCSW, Donna Carrington, Kay Castillo, BSW, Jonathan Oberlander, PhD, and Barbara B. Smith, LCSW

Health care and medical insurance are hot button topics with ethical implications. This panel will provide background and context to understand the key issues that affect the provision of care in the US and emerging options that could improve access. The panel will also provide steps that ethical practitioners and advocates for social justice can take to promote change.
